Why Rumours and Innuendo?
We are the NEW Rumours and Innuendo! In the 80's and 90's, the first Rumours & Innuendo nightclubs were operated under the leadership of Molly Kauffman, Doris Eiselmayr and Toni Rossi. Rumours & Innuendo were community institutions loved by the Twin Cities GLBT community. Both were establishment where men and women came together to enjoy a night of entertainment.
The new Rumours & Innuendo is owned and operated by Sean and Jim Fetterman. Rumours & Innuendo was created to compliment the already existing GLBT entertainment options in St. Paul. In researching what people wanted, we listened to friends and others in the community and heard each person's want for a new night spot with the same "feel" of Rumours & Innuendo. In fact, we often heard "Rumours" or "Innuendo" as a common theme to describe what they are looking for.
We approached the former Rumours/Innuendo ownership (Molly, Doris and Toni) and asked their permission to start a new era of Rumours & Innuendo. We are resurrecting these community institutions with the same feel that will be a fun place to gather with friends to enjoy music, dance and drink. Although Molly, Doris or Toni do not own any part of the new Rumours & Innuendo, they are our biggest supporters!
We hope to have the new Rumours & Innuendo mirror the Rumours and Innuendo of the past and continue the dream that Molly, Doris and Toni started.
